According to a Canadian government survey, these 9 jobs in Manitoba have seen an increase in demand as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

2. Cleaning supervisors (NOC 6315)

Supervising and coordinating the work of specialized cleaners, janitors, caretakers, and superintendents is the responsibility of cleaning supervisors.

Many work in hospitals, healthcare facilities, hotels, schools, and other businesses.

Cleaning supervisors had a 68 percent increase in employment in April 2020 compared to April 2019.

Enhanced cleaning techniques became a priority during the COVID-19 pandemic, therefore this significant increase may not be surprising.

3. Delivery and courier service drivers (NOC 7514)

To pick up and distribute things, these experts use cars, vans, and light trucks.

Drug stores, newspaper distributors, restaurants, dry cleaners, and a variety of other companies commonly use them. Many people work for themselves.

In 2020, average employment levels for this job increased year over year.

During the pandemic, consumer spending habits switched online.

As a result, the need for this occupation increased, and many grocery stores hired more shelf stockers and order fillers.
