Latest Ontario PNP Draw Invites 143 French-speaking Candidates

Ontario invited 143 french-speaking candidates in the Express Entry system to apply for a provincial nomination on June 18.

A total of 143 french-speaking candidates were issued Notifications of Interest (NOIs) in the new draw. Candidates were granted invitations if they had Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores between 424 and 436, and had the qualifying requirement for Ontario’s Express Entry French-Speaking Skilled Workers (FSSW) stream.

This is the second Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw to be conducted in two days by the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP). The draw on June 17 invited Express Entry candidates who may qualify for the Express Entry Skilled Trades stream.

Candidates from both of these draw needed to have a valid profile in the federal Express Entry system, which manages applications for the Federal Skilled Trades Program, the Federal Skilled Workers Program, and the Canadian Experience Class.

Express Entry candidates are allotted points on the CRS for age, work experience, educational qualification, and language ability.

If invited candidates receive the nomination, they will be granted an extra 600 CRS points toward their overall score.

This bonus practically assures that they will be issued an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canadian permanent residence in upcoming federal Express Entry draw.

The French-Speaking Skilled Workers (FSSW) candidates need to meet the eligibility requirement of the Canadian Experience Class or the Federal Skilled Worker Program, and have a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) of at least six in English and seven in French, among other requirements.

These invited candidates will be contacted by the OINP. They have forty-five (45) days to apply online for their provincial nominations.
