The Canada Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) is a popular way for foreigners to obtain Canadian Permanent Residence. Date for PNP draws vary from province to province, Federal government also issue invitations to apply under express entry draw. The invitation round is also known as PNP Draw or Express Entry Draw.

Latest Provincial Nominee Invitation Updates

February 2, 2022:

  • BC invited 8 entrepreneur candidates to apply for provincial nominee through the BC Entrepreneur stream.
  • Federal government issued out 1,070 ITAs to PNP candidates. This February 2 PNP invitation is the biggest in the recent times. A CRS cut off mark of 674 was used.

February 1, 2022:

  • Quebec announced the results of a January 27 draw which invited 322 candidates PR through the Quebec Skilled Worker program. Cut off mark of 647 points was used and job offers must be outside the Montreal region.
  • Alberta announced the results of a January 18 draw that invited 350 Express Entry candidates with CRS score cut off of 346.
  • British Columbia invited 126 candidates to apply for provincial nomination through four streams of the BC PNP. This was a BC Tech draw.

January 27, 2022:

  • Manitoba invited 315 applicants, including 69 Express Entry candidates to apply for PR.
  • Ontario issued ITA to 1,032 Express Entry candidates through the Skilled Trades stream. This draw was the first OINP Skilled Trades draw since last year, and the largest OINP ever.

January 25, 2022:

  • British Columbia issued out 289 ITAs to candidates through 4 BC PNP streams.

January 25, 2022:

  • Prince Edward Island invited 121 applicants to apply for PR under the Labour and Express Entry streams. Additional 11 persons were invited through the Business Work Permit Entrepreneur category.

January 25, 2022:

  • British Columbia issued 91 invitations for provincial nomination under the BC Tech draw.
  • Alberta province released the results of their January 5 draw in which 250 Express Entry applicants were invited with CRS cut off of 327.

What is PNP Draw?

Every few weeks, one or more provinces issue out invitations to apply for their PNP program. These invitations are referred to as “draws.” The provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec and Saskatchewan all participate in the PNP.

Which provinces invite immigrants via PNP?

The provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec and Saskatchewan all participate in the PNP. In addition, the three territories of Canada also offer immigration programs: Northwest Territories, Nunavut and Yukon. The Federal government’s invitation process is called Express Entry Draw.

Can you predict date of next Express Entry PNP?

Express entry Canada Provincial Nominee Program PNP Draw takes place regularly. Canada Immigration draws are conducted on a few days in the month, including dates like January 15th, February 22nd and March 29th. Canada immigration draw is conducted to issue invitations for permanent residentship via Canada Express Entry system.

It is hard to predict the date of the next Canada Express Entry PNP draw. However, we can look at the past patterns to get an idea about when the next Canada Immigration draw might take place.

How to receive PNP invitation

To receive an invitation to apply for a PNP, you must first create an Express Entry profile or apply through the particular province you wish to receive an ITA from. You will be entered into the pool of candidates and will be assessed against eligibility criteria for one or more of the following programs: Federal Skilled Worker Program, Canadian Experience Class or Federal Skilled Trades Program. If you are eligible, you will be invited to apply for a provincial nomination.
